McRaeway Show Home

McNeilly Heavy Haulage specialises in moving prefab buildings, container houses, classrooms and old Victorian homes. Whether new or second-hand homes, we’re trusted in the industry to transport buildings. We work with a number of house builders in the private sector, one of which is McRaeway Homes. 

McRaeway homes contacted us to move their oversize show home from Redruth in Timaru to Twizel. The prefab house was accompanied by four pilot vehicles. It was a large-scale show home for transportation, at 11 metres wide. The show home was moved overnight when traffic volumes were low, involving adjusting traffic lights and roadside furniture to move the home to its final destination in Twizel.
